Work table with recycled pallets

Pallet work table

A few days ago I was telling you about him pallet recycling in order to renew your green space. Yes, those frames that were born to facilitate loading and unloading crossed borders some time ago and that is how pallets became an object of decoration.

Industrial designers believed in their possibilities and took care of them, transforming them from simple work accessories to design objects, with an infinite number of functions and uses. Today I bring you an idea that you may like for your garden, especially if you need to organize it to facilitate your gardening tasks.

Recycling a pallet

Pallets

Do you have a lot of work tools and you don't know where to keep them? With a little ingenuity and some work you can take advantage of these elements to decorate the garden. Taking advantage of an old disused pallet you can transform it to design a work table to decorate the garden and keep order.

As you can see in the image, the step by step is very simple since you only need a wooden pallet, some screws, some wooden slats and a drill.

Making a workbench

Remember that it is best not to disassemble the structure but work with the complete pallet although you can cut it into parts. In this case, you must cut the pallet in half and in equal parts.

Then take two long slats of wood and cut them in half, to the desired height according to the height you want the workbench to be. Finally take the drill and screw the two portions of pallets to the wooden slats, forming an inverted "V" so that the table has a good support.

One of the parts of the pallet will be almost touching the ground and the other a little higher so that you will have the table and a space to store the most used objects such as showers, rakes, shovels, etc.

If you have some time, it is best to varnish the table with a matte or gloss varnish to protect the wood. And if you have even more time, you can add other details such as areas for hanging tools, more shelves and so on.
