Origin and characteristics
Our protagonist is a creeping perennial herb whose scientific name is Cymbalaria muralis. It is popularly known as picardia or bell grass, and it is native to Mediterranean Europe. It has rounded and sometimes even heart-shaped leaves, with three to seven lobes 2,5 to 5cm long and wide, alternate. The stems are thin and can reach 70cm long.
The flowers are solitary, measure 1cm, and have a lilac or violet corolla. When they are pollinated, they move away from the light looking for a crevice where they will drop the seeds.
What are their cares?
