El senecio angulatus, popularly known as Senecio ivy, is a climber native to South Africa that was introduced to Spain, where it has already become naturalized. The leaves are fleshy, glabrous, have a slightly serrated margin and are greenish in color. The flowers, which can appear at any time of the year except summer, are yellow and they are composed of five small petals.

Its growth rate is quite fast, which is why it is often considered an invasive species. But at the time of writing this article it has not yet been included in the Catalog of Invasive Species of Spain, which you can see here.

I have had this plant on my terrace for years, in a pot and all summer it gives me shade on the west side, forming a vertical garden between latticework as it supports full sun.
But this year with the snowfall I think I have definitely lost it at this point nothing has sprung up. Could you help me find a stem, seeds or something

      Hi Marian.

I recommend you contact a nursery in your area; or else search the internet. Today there are many nurseries that sell plants online.

      Greetings.

I have this vine 6 or 7 years ago, it is 12 meters long, it surrounds the whole house and just this year I discovered a disease or plague, I don't know, the leaves have like an oil and on the branches a white paste (not the whole plant alone a small part) what can it be ????

      Hello Alejandro.

See if you have mealybugs. In the link you can see the varieties that most affect plants.

They are eliminated with anti-mealybugs. Greetings.
