What aromatic can you plant in october? What kind of flower pot do you need to plant them at home? When will they have grown? How do you have to take care of them? This little crop calendar gives you the quick answer.

I found it because I decided to plant some aromatic accompany my vegetables flowerpot and because I love that thing about needing parsley and going to the terrace to cut it, like lettuce. Each species in one pot or planter, because some aromatics are invasive, such as tarragon or mint. And also because sometimes they attract some pests and thus it is easier to isolate them.

  • Garden cress. Direct sowing in lines 12-15 cm apart. Quick germination. Direct and frequent irrigation. Avoid direct sun exposure. Edible leaves.
  • Chervil. Direct sowing in minimum 5 liter pots or planters with 15 cm of separation between plants. Sow in moist, shady soil. Harvesting after 6-8 weeks. Abundant watering, maintain the humidity of the substrate. Culinary use.
  • Parsley. Direct sowing in pots of at least 5 liters. Germination in 15-30 days. Harvesting after 3 months. Regular watering, maintain humidity of the substrate. Culinary use.
  • Thyme. Direct sowing in pots of at least 10 liters. Great drainage and very little irrigation. It does not require a subscriber. It allows indoor cultivation, in sunny places. Culinary use.
  • Cat grass. Direct sowing in a container with a minimum depth of 10 cm. Quick germination. Light and frequent watering, maintain the humidity of the substrate. It is eaten by cats, improves their digestion and eliminates hairballs in their digestive system.
  • Arugula. Direct sowing in pots of at least 3 liters. Germination in 8-10 days. Harvesting in 6 weeks. Abundant watering, maintain the humidity of the substrate. Edible.
  • Canons. Direct sowing in minimum pots of 5. Germination in 8-10 days. Harvesting in 6 weeks. Regular watering, maintain humidity of the substrate. Edible.
