The camedrio, whose scientific name is Teucrium chamaedrys, it is a perennial plant native to the Iberian Peninsula. It is made up of ascending stems, slightly woody at the base, from which 1cm long green leaves sprout with serrated margins. The flowers are also small, less than 1cm, with a purple-pink corolla. These appear in groups of 2-6 in the axil of the floral leaves from spring to summer.
