Do you want to save money on the maintenance of your lawn? Right? Then get to work! We are going to learn how to make a home sprinkler. It is very, very easy to do and once finished, not only can your beautiful green carpet be watered, but it will also become the perfect excuse to go out to the garden and cool off.

You will need four things: one plastic bottlea garden hose that is connected to a water supply, insulating tape and some Few minutes of your time.

Step by step

Plastic bottles

Ready to enjoy the garden like never before? Follow this simple step by step:

  1. The first thing to do is grab a bottle of at least 2l.
  2. Then rinses well with water until it is as clean as possible.
  3. Then you have to make a few holes -Which you want- where the water will come out, either with scissors, a screwdriver or another object that has a sharp point.
  4. Now you have to join the inlet of the bottle (without the cap) with one of the ends of the hose with electrical tape. The other end of the hose must be securely attached to the tap, so it is advisable to reinforce it with more tape.

Garden hose

Finished, it's time to release it. To do this, put it on the ground and turn on the tap. If problems arise, now is the time to solve them. If there are water leaks, proceed to put more insulating tape on both ends of the hose; and if you want more water to come out of the new sprinkler, you will have to make some more holes.

But there is still something else, and that is that although it can be used as a sprinkler, will also serve as a shower, since we will only have to hang it from a tree. It's great, isn't it?
