white trumpet shaped flowers

This herbaceous is native to China and JapanSpecifically, the species that predominate in gardens as ornament come from some varieties from Japan. He arrived in Europe in the year 1830.

Features

The showy leaves originate from an underground and fleshy stem that over time increases in size, making the plant increasingly thick and strong. The leaves are large and deciduousTherefore, in winter these fall completely and new ones sprout in spring.

The shape of these is oval and at the base with a heart shape, sometimes a good size wingspan is noticeable, with rather pronounced curved nerves that make the limbus undulate. These are of mixed colors and uneven spots.

Flowering takes place in spring and summer through spikes that emerge from the center of each of the shoots, the colors of these are white or very light lilac, although the latter is less common. They have a delicious aroma that makes itself felt.

La Host of fortune easily adapts to almost all types of soil, being ideal to cover surfaces without problems and beautifying the space.
