Having toads in the garden or even in the vegetable garden is something highly, highly recommended. These animals are great eaters of insects that cause pests, and even feed on mollusks (slugs and snails). The most interesting thing is that it is not very difficult to get them to become our companions, no matter how far we live from the field.

What do toads like?
Toads, unlike frogs, have rough skin that allows them to spend more time out of the water. In fact, they do not need to live permanently in ponds, but what they do is dig their shelters in the earth, yes, cool and wet.

- Keep pets away from the garden or part of it: It is achieved by putting up barriers, for example with wire mesh (grid) and some high posts.
