To collect plants and have them very healthy, at the beginning, if we do not have much experience, the ideal is to collect only one type. Today we find collectors of succulents (cacti and / or succulents), palm trees, trees, ... Which ones do you like the most? It is important to answer this question taking into account the climate in your area, since for example succulents and palm trees do not thrive in cold regions.
Once you have decided, it will be time to go to a nursery to acquire those specimens that you like the most. If you can, it is highly recommended to go to a specialist nursery that is dedicated exclusively to selling a certain type of plant, since this way they will be able to tell you their scientific names -which will help you to see how they will be as adults-, and their specific care.

The best collections are those that are well ordered. Thus, every time you get a new copy it is advisable that put a label with its scientific name with a permanent ink pen. In this way, it will be much easier for you to identify the plants by having their names memorized.
Also, if you intend to collect various types of plants you should put the copies of each type together and a little separated from the rest so that you can give each one the care they require.
