Ginger

Ginger, whose scientific name is Zingiber officinale, it is a plant of very easy cultivation And maintenance. However, for everything to go smoothly, you must make sure that, at the time of purchase, there are no wrinkles or mold. Also, it should not be soft, otherwise it would not serve us.

Once at home, take a pot about 40cm deep, and also wide (the more, the better). Fill it with a mixture of 70% universal garden soil and 30% organic compost -as vermicompost or horse manure-. It is also advisable to place a first layer of volcanic clay, clay balls or even small stones in order to ensure that the water drains quickly and that the substrate does not remain in water for too long.
