Since they are just seeds, plants have to deal with microorganisms capable of ending their life in a matter of a few days. And only the most resistant survive.
When we grow them in the yard or at home, we unfortunately don't keep them safe from them. But we can do several things to avoid them: discover how to prevent fungus.

Whether we obtain the seeds from plants that we already had or if we acquire them in a nursery or garden store, it is highly recommended to give them a 'bath' with fungicide. In this way, the chances of germination and survival of the future seedling will increase. But how? Very easy: we just have to put them in a glass with water -preferably rain or osmosis- and spray with a broad spectrum fungicide.
If at this time you do not have fungicide, you can choose to add a pinch of copper or sulfur to the glass, or clean them thoroughly with a little dishwasher.

Powdery mildew
Who has never had a problem getting young plants to thrive? These tender shoots are a delight for mushrooms, who will not hesitate to attack them. So that, you have to continue doing fungicide treatments at least until they have completed two yearsespecially if it is trees.
But for them, in addition to using the aforementioned fungicides (sulfur, copper or broad spectrum fungicide), it is important that we use a new substrate and prevent it from remaining waterlogged, except if it is an aquatic or riverbank plant. Fungi proliferate in humid environments, and as soon as they notice that our plant begins to be weak, we could lose it.
In the case of horticultural plants, as they are intended for human consumption, I recommend using natural and ecological fungicides, like the ones we tell you in this article.
