Origin and characteristics
As we anticipated at the beginning, erinacea anthyllis o Nun's cushion is a plant that we can find in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, in the Mediterranean region and in Morocco. Form clumps with stems up to 30cm tall, very branched, whose ends are thorny. The leaves are small and deciduous, composed of 1-3 linear-lanceolate leaflets.
Flowers and fructifies between the months of May to August in the northern hemisphere. The flowers are small, 1-2cm, blue-purple in color. The fruit is a 13-20mm legume.
What are their cares?
If you want to have a copy, we recommend that you provide it with the following care:
- Location: outside, in full sun.
- Earth:
- Pot: universal growing substrate mixed with 30% perlite.
- Garden: it is indifferent as long as it has good drainage.
