Green peas

First of all, let's see what the characteristics of the plant are. It is a legume with the air of a climber native to the Mediterranean basin whose scientific name is Pisum sativum. It develops very thin stems from which sprout leaves formed by pairs of leaflets and terminated in tendrils. The flowers are grouped in inflorescences in clusters measuring about 9 x 4cm. Once they are pollinated, the fruits that we all know by the name of peas or peas begin to ripen.

  • Watering can with water: essential to keep the soil moist.

  • Substratum: it can be the universal substrate sold in any nursery, but if it is mixed with 30% perlite, the seedlings will be able to root more easily.

  • SOL: it is very important to have an area that is directly exposed to the star king.

  • Seeds- Get them at any nursery, garden store, or online in late winter.

When the plants have reached an easily manipulated height, that is, they are about 20cm high, it will be time to move them to the garden. To do this, what you have to do is Preparing the terrain, removing the herbs and stones, y pay it pouring a layer of chicken manure or guano and then mixing it with the earth.

Later install the drip irrigation system y plants are planted in rows, leaving a distance between them of about 40cm. You must remember to give them a tutor so that they can develop well.
