Amaranthus paniculatus
It is a very original plant in which cream and orange beaks of feathers grow. It can grow up to 120 cm tall.
- Their seeds they are placed on the surface of individual pots, in well-drained and moist soil. They should be covered with a light layer of vermiculite.
- Light is necessary for its germination.
- Its germination will be faster if it is placed during the day in a warm environment (20-25ºC) and during the night in a cool place (18ºC).
- It must always be kept moist, without excess water.
- A transparent plastic bag should be covered until germination.
- Germination occurs in 3-15 days.
Cosmos
In order for them to flower more quickly, they should be sown in early April. There are numerous varieties of cosmos, find out well about each one to ensure the available space and the color that you like the most for your flowers.
- It should be sown 3 mm deep in enriched soil.
- A constant temperature of 20-25ºC must be maintained.
- The ground must remain humid, but not excessively.
- Germination takes between 5-10 days.
- When the plants can be handled safely, you can transplant them into 7,5 cm pots and let them grow in a cooler place.
- When it is 5 cm tall, you can do small pruning to help it produce more.
