The ferns of the genus Pteris are very, very showy, but the species Pteris cretica it is a wonder. Native to Mexico and Guatemala, it has leaves up to 0,8 m in length, pinnate, and green in color. It can be kept both indoors and outdoors, as long as the temperature does not drop below -2ºC.
