If you are a lover of non-cacti succulents, that is, of those species they have fleshy leaves and that, normally, are much more harmless than cacti, you will not find any as easy to care for as the prolific echeveria. In fact, you could almost say that it is one of the hardest to miss.

In addition, it is very pretty and very useful, since it can be kept in a pot or on the ground to cover small sunny areas of the garden. And you will only have to provide minimal care so that it is always healthy.

How is it?

First of all, we are going to see what its characteristics are so that there is no doubt when we go to buy it from a nursery or garden store. Well, our protagonist is a succulent or non-cactus plant native to Mexico whose scientific name is prolific echeveria. Grows forming rosettes of fleshy leaves pale silver green with pink margins.

It reaches a height of 15 to 20 centimeters and blooms in spring. The flowers are grouped in inflorescences that have thick leaf bracts which tend to fall and root very easily.
