They are popularly known as »tiger tongue»,»sword of saint george»Or»lizard tail». All of them are native to Africa and Asia. Its leaves are distributed in such a way that they form rosettes. They are acaule plants, that is, they do not have a trunk or stem, so they grow very close to the ground.

Whether it is grown in a pot or in soil, it is very important that we put a porous substrate, which facilitates the rapid drainage of the water. Likewise, we will avoid that the earth is flooded, since it could be harmful to the plant. Depending on the weather, we will water between one and two times a week, adding fertilizer for cacti or natural fertilizers, such as guano or humus, every 15 days.

It is very resistant to pests, so you won't have to worry about them affecting your Sansevieria 🙂. In any case, if you saw any, they would probably be mealybugs (specifically San José Louse), which can be easily removed with a cotton swab moistened with water.

These are some plants that they will look beautiful with hardly any care, so they are ideal for you.
