Homemade self-watering pot

Following this scheme, we will build our own hydromassage pot (Source: Fertitienda)

Diving through the Net I have found a curious idea: how to make a self-watering home pot.

Just one plastic bottle or carafe large, at least 2 liters, a few scissors or a cutter and some strings of cotton or wicks to have our own hydro-pot.

The procedure is very simple, just follow the instructions in the scheme to get a self-watering pot easily and economically. By capillarity, our plants will stay hydrated.

But I have also found another curious idea with plastic bottles, very original and fun. I leave you some photos. The strings go through the bottles, they are natural fibers such as cotton, sisal or hemp. So the water drains through the rope.
