Shrubs for dry climates

nerium oleander

For those of us who live in dry climates, in principle we can believe that it will cost us a lot to find shrubs that can decorate our garden. That thought is not wrong, since most plants in this type of climate have small, inconspicuous leaves and / or flowers. And that is why we often have to go to nurseries where they have plants whose origin is different from ours, but nevertheless the climate is similar. This is something that has been done for a long time, practically since humans began to colonize different territories thanks to the invention of ships.

One of the most popular shrubs in this type of garden is undoubtedly the oleander, whose scientific name is nerium oleander. This precious shrub native to the Mediterranean reaching China, today it can be found practically all over the world, except in those places where winters are very cold. But in addition to oleander, there are other very interesting bushes. Do you want to know what they are?
