We start this list with what, until now, is considered the most resistant palm in the world: the Rhapidophyllum hystrix. This palm tree has a shrub shape, with an approximate height of five meters, with several basal shoots. Its origin is found in America, specifically in the southeastern United States, in the wooded and humid jungles. Resists up to -23º.

We continue with the Nannorrhops ritchiana, a palm native to Afghanistan that can withstand cold winters down to -20º. It is also a small palm tree: it does not usually exceed 4 meters in height. Once established, it withstands drought without problems.
