Origin and characteristics
El Carex pendula, popularly known as carex, pendulum carex, bulrush, junca or weeping carice, is a herbaceous plant native to Europe and the Mediterranean basin. It produces dark green tapered leaves that can measure between 1,5 and 1,8 meters in height.. The flowers are grouped in hanging spikes that appear in spring and remain until fall.
