Small, compact shrubs are often needed in gardens that produce lots of flowers and are also easy to care for. Well, one of the most interesting is the one that I am going to present to you below: the Convulvulus cneorum.

It grows quite fast and does not need much attention to be healthy. In fact, it does not usually have problems with pests or diseases, and can be pruned if you see that it is necessary.

Origin and characteristics

It is an evergreen shrub native to the Mediterranean Region whose scientific name is Convolvulus cneorum, and which is popularly known as Morning Glory bush, silver bell, Turkish bindweed or morning glory. It reaches a maximum height of 60 centimeters and has a rounded bearing.. The leaves are lanceolate, silver-green in color, and the flowers, which appear in spring-summer, are composed of a white or pink corolla.

It is a very interesting plant to grow in low maintenance gardens, as well as those near the coast. In addition, due to its size it is perfect to have, also, in a pot.
