But this survival strategy has often made them take really curious shapes, which are perfect to include in a home, and more so on a Halloween night.

There are a number of cacti and succulents that you can decorate your home with on Halloween. With them, it will be very easy to have a home ready to celebrate the most terrifying night of the year.

In addition, they are green with white lines on the upper side and purple on the underside, a characteristic that makes it look beautiful. Although there are 30 different species, there are only about three that are easily found in nurseries, such as the Sermpervivum tectorum, Sempervivum arachnoideum or Sempervivum calcareum. In any case, with these you can have a pumpkin with a magnificent composition of succulents, since they are plants that grow only up to 5 centimeters, with leaves that can be green, bluish, and there are even some that have white fibers that look like cobwebs.

How are they cared for?
If we want to enjoy these plants every Halloween night, it is important that we give them a series of cares so that they always remain healthy. The main thing is to put them in a room where there is a lot of natural light, since otherwise we would lose them in a matter of a short time.
Likewise, they must be planted in pots that have holes in their base; in this way the water will be able to come out every time they are watered. As they are going to be at home, we will put a plate under them, but after watering we have to drain it. And by the way, you have to water when the soil is completely dry to prevent the roots from rotting.
For that reason also it is very important to plant them in specific substrates for succulents (on sale here), or with a mixture of peat and perlite in equal parts. That way, we will make sure that they take root well and that they develop normally.
When necessary, more or less every 3 years, it will be advisable to plant them in larger pots so that they can continue to grow. This will be done in spring, when there are no more frosts.
